Résumé
L’auteure examine le travail de Wang Chih-Chien à la lumière des rapports étranges et symboliques qu’il entretient avec les aliments et d’autres objets de consommation domestique. Elle conclut cependant que ce point de vue réduit la portée de cette démarche artistique puisque l’artiste aborde également la façon dont les pratiques quotidiennes se rattachent à la mémoire et aux relations humaines, tout en reflétant un statut socio-économique. Les photographies et vidéos de Wang permettraient tout à la fois au regardeur de renouer avec ses souvenirs et de s’adonner au rêve .

Un magazine qui se consacre à la présentation et à l’analyse des pratiques de la photographie en lien à l’art contemporain, aux nouvelles technologies de l’image et aux enjeux actuels de la culture.
