During the pandemic, the Musée d’art de Joliette undertaken a project called Quarantined Museum, a blog put online and hosted by the museum’s team to stay in touch with its community. The idea is to solicit exchanges and reactions by the public (posts, creations, etc.) around different themes related to the museum’s current or future programming. Among the works addressed as part of this initiative, Adad Hannah’s project Social Distancing, which includes fixed-shot video portraits and short conversations in which people describe their own situations, resonates particularly during this period of confinement.
