Jeff Khonsary
Fillip, Image Index (2005–24)
An interview by Jacques Doyon
[EXCERPT]
We were intrigued to learn that Fillip, a Vancouver publisher well known for its text-centred publications and aesthetic, was publishing an index of all the images included in its publications over the last twenty years. The result is a 464-page volume comprising 778 images, along with captions and bibliographic notes for each one. At the time I was writing my questions for the publisher, I had had a glimpse of only a few pages of the book and had not grasped its overall structure, the subtleties of which Jeff Khonsary explains here.
