[EXCERPT]

Paolo Roversi’s work has always moved me. The blurred intense colours. The evanescent light. His models mysterious, a phantom-like presence. Otherworldly. He is always exploring the ephemeral nature of beauty and the fleeting moment. I have treasured his book Libretto (2000), which I bought over twenty years ago. A small self-published volume, at Editions Stromboli, his imprint. An artist’s book, printed by Steidl on delicate paper, Japanese fold.
